AT TRAINING |

|
APEL offers a range of Assistive Technology training courses for educators as well as middle and high school students. Courses include:
Our three assistive technology courses for special and general education teachers make clear how to identify students who have a "print disability" and develop an IEP that includes appropriate assistive technology, how to locate and access digital media for print disabled students, how to include students with reading difficulties in the general classroom and core curriculum according to current research and how to set up a "digital book club". The SLICE Tips Workshop is totally hands on. Students learn how to access "talking textbooks" via the internet and easily complete academic assignments using their computer word processor. |

Special offers available for schools that are participating for the first time during the summer of 2010. |
